Official metered taxi

฿400–500 · 40–60 min
  1. After customs on Level 2, go down to Level 1 (the arrivals curb).
  2. Use the self-service taxi kiosk, take a queue ticket, then go to the numbered bay printed on it.
  3. Insist on the meter. Total = meter (~฿280–380) + ฿50 airport fee + tolls (~฿70). Say “tang duan” (expressway) to save time.
Ignore anyone inside the terminal offering a “flat fare” of ฿800–1,000 — those are touts. Only use the official Level 1 queue. Available 24 h. Follow the route below so you can see the driver isn't taking a detour.

  2. Bolt / inDrive: usually cheaper; just tell the driver which door and level you're on.
The price is fixed before you confirm — no negotiation, no language barrier. Fares rise at peak hours and when it rains.
